New security measures at Center City campus Dec. 2

Beginning Monday, Dec. 2, new security measures will be in place at UNC Charlotte Center City.

New security measures at Center City campus Dec. 2

Beginning Monday, Dec. 2, new security measures will be in place at UNC Charlotte Center City. 

 Faculty, staff and students
All faculty, staff and students must wear their 49er ID card at all times when inside the building. This includes those working and attending classes at Center City as well as all  employee and student visitors to the building. Lanyards will be provided at the lobby desk. 

 If you forget your ID, you can check in at the lobby desk to be issued a visitor badge. You must show a government-issued ID to obtain a visitor badge.
 

Visitors and event attendees
All visitors must check in at the lobby desk upon arrival and present a government-issued ID.  Visitors will be issued a visitor badge that must be worn throughout their stay in the building.

Those attending events at Center City will continue to be required to wear a University-issued nametag or other identification. Center City’s event coordinators will work with event organizers to finalize arrangements and necessary attendee communication for specific events.
