Interested in having your event at Center City?
UNC Charlotte Center City is a great venue for meetings, conferences, staff training, receptions, seminars and more. We hold events for departments and student organizations within the university, as well as businesses and organizations, from the larger Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. The building boasts 21 classrooms, 5 conference rooms, a 90-seat lecture hall, a 300-seat auditorium and an atrium with terrific views of Charlotte’s skyline.
To get started, please submit an event request form (located at the bottom of the page) to check availability and request to reserve space. We will contact you within five business days. We require 7 business days notice for simple university department meetings (14 business days if catering is requested). For external organizations we require at least 3 weeks notice.
An “event” is anything requested outside of regularly scheduled academic and continuing education classes.

We are using a new event software to reserve event space. In order to check space availability or reserve a space, you must fill out an event request form before we can move forward into the booking process.
To submit a request, click the below image to fill out an event request form for your event. When you reach the event form site, please click "New Enquiry" at the top menu to begin filling out the form.
Please do not submit a request for a specific semester before the submission date above. The requests will be invalid and you will have to resubmit at the appropriate time.
KNOW BEFORE BOOKING:
Larger events requesting the atrium, auditorium and lecture hall may only start the event before 4:30pm or after 6:30pm due to academic class times in the building. We will not begin any program between these times Monday-Thursday.
