How to get a Student ID?
To Obtain a 49er Card:
We’re strongly encouraging students attending class at the Dubois Center to take advantage of the 49er Mobile ID Program.
In addition to serving as your identifying credentials and providing access to the Dubois Center uptown campus, your 49er Mobile ID gives you access to a number of university resources. You can find more information, including instructions on how to set up your 49er Mobile ID, at the link below.
If you believe that you might need a physical ID card in addition to your Mobile ID (or are otherwise unable to utilize the Mobile ID Program), and you are enrolled in classes at our uptown campus, a physical 49er Card can be printed for you to pick up at the Dubois Center. Please follow the steps below.
- Submit an online photo at aux.charlotte.edu/49er-card.
- Receive photo approval email.
- Once approved, request that your card be printed by emailing us at duboiscenter@charlotte.edu. You must provide your UNC Charlotte student ID number, and confirmation that you are enrolled in a course at the Dubois Center. Please provide the course and section number of at least one class you’ll be attending at the Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City (the location will be listed as CITY, followed by a room number, in the course listing).
- You will receive an email when your ID card is ready to be picked up.
- Pick up card at The Dubois Center lobby desk (bring another form of ID for verification).
