As we kick off Black History Month and the celebration of the Emancipation Proclamation, join Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, Founder and Artistic Director of Urban Bush Women, in an open interview and dialogue. Exploring themes of social justice and emancipation, Zollar will share perspectives on art as a tool for liberation and Urban Bush Women's approach to facilitating a social change agenda in schools and communities. The evening's dialogue will include a brief movement demonstration by UBW members and a dessert reception. This event is free.
