Are you interested in having an event here at Center City?
UNC Charlotte Center City is a great venue for meetings, conferences, staff training, receptions, seminars and more. We hold events for departments and student organizations within the university, as well as businesses and organizations, from the larger Charlotte-Mecklenburg area. The building boasts 21 classrooms, 4 conference rooms, a 90-seat lecture hall, a 300-seat auditorium and an atrium with terrific views of Charlotte’s skyline.
Please click on one of the below imagines that best fit your event and fill out the form. We will contact you within five business days. We require 5 business days notice for simple meetings/events. For more complex or large events we require at least 3 weeks notice. An “event” is anything requested outside of regularly scheduled academic and continuing education classes.
Important "Know Before You Book" Information:
- Please fill out an Event Request Form (Image links below) prior to contacting Center City Events Staff. If you do not know the date or rooms you need, please still fill out the appropriate request form.
- Parking has changed at Center City starting August 15, 2017. It is a requirement that external organizations and university departments pay for their event attendees' parking. The fee is $6 a car. For more information regarding the new parking procedures for events, staff/faculty, and students, please see our parking webpage.
